I was banned for moving back and forth against Stockfish?

@Morozov I've already discussed that there are players who play many more games than Chesstroll_Ingot has. If that's the issue, then moderators should set a limit as to how many games are allowed per day.

And please, don't misrepresent my points. I said "*repeating* moves versus a non-human opponent", not "making moves against non human players".
@Trxps I am not misrepresenting your points. However it seems like you are missing the issue here. He played against Stockfish and not vs humans. Stockfishs use of CPU is the limiting resource here as far as I understood. Wasting valuable stockfish for something you can do with a simple mouse training programm is the incosiderate part.
I don't think there is anything controversial about a user being stopped from doing something he shouldn't be doing. None of the justifications being proposed - "avoiding mistakes" or "training" necessitates playing against an automated procedure where lichess has to manage and hands out lots of computation load to the network. It is especially clear that it is problematic since thibault said it himself. If you disagree then you are always free to build your own lichess clone and power your own network and learn how wrong you are, but it's another thing to be warned for doing something stupid, continue and then complain about it as if you didn't know about it.
Oh okay, I understand now. Well in that case, it would seem like a fair deal if lichess moderators and Chesstroll_Ingot agree to make some sort of a compromise. Something like, if Chesstroll contributes by installing fishnet, then he would be allowed to keep playing these games versus stockfish. I'm not sure if either side would even want to agree to this, but it seems reasonable to me.
This whole thread is funny. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

On a more serious note, I will leave it to the mods to see if the OP should be banned.

I would think this is akin to wasteful government spending, if I was to make an analogy for what the OP did. Thibault is merely cleaning up wasteful spending is how I see it.
If I understand this correctly, you need only to donate a small amount to lichess and you can openly defy Thibault's requests.

"Most “free” websites subsist by selling ads or selling user data. Others do it by putting all the good stuff behind paywalls. Lichess does none of these things and never will. "

>Good stuff behind paywalls.
oh my goodness what is this topic about?
about childish people who have nothing to do?
really dudes what the hell?
dont u have better things to do than paaying 29000 games like this, dont u have better things to do than playing ultra, dont u have better things to do than posting here 20 times?
this whole topic is just kindergarten, grow up dudes, u behave as 5 year old children whose toys were stolen
wake up, welcome in the real world, in the adult world

i dont men it as an offense, just to tell which nonsense this is
I think any chess site would ban you for this.... by the way, asking "Is Lichess a dictatorship?" just seems really stupid: moderators will moderate, it's kind of in the job title. Maybe you should moderate your bullet play, try playing bullet in moderation..... or play using your own computing resources, that way you won't take up Lichess URLs and computing time.
In #8 you say "To play ultrabullet I have to practice here. Because the board and everything can't be found on those websites. I suggested developers to move Stockfish 1 to WASMX, which was ignored. I would be fine with spending my CPU instead of Lichess's, but Lichess doesn't provide this feature. "

Wrong!
You can set up one local lichess server on your own computer as described at github.com/ornicar/lila/wiki/Lichess-Development-Onboarding
This way you can waste your own computer resources.
Deal?
