The puzzle doesnt make sense

The puzzle link - lichess.org/training/Xjw0v - has the good move as white queen below black king to give check but in reality there is no support to the queen and the king can also kill the queen but insted he went up

If you mean Qe6+, the queen is protected by d5 pawn so that Kd8 and Kf8 are the only legal moves for black.
