2 Cents ? is that the monetary value of each game you play on Lichess?

It just crossed my mind, can't tell you why, to look at what lichess.org website may be worth per game played. (just out of curiosity - not meaning that I hadn't highest regards of lichess' public domain philosphy and of Thibault & Cie. "Free Forevever" humanitarian ideals) If I am not very much mistaken, it is roundabout 2 cents. The data are from worthofweb.com and siteprice.org, which by chance just showed up the two top search results on Google, and on whose reliabilty I have not the slightest idea. Now, what does 2 cents a game mean to you, I wonder. Or maybe someone came up with a better estimate.
2 cents for my ~9000 games = ~$180 generated over a period of 15 days = ~$12 a day. 24 hours for a day= $.5 a day. eh.

So you ( virtually ) generated a couple hundred bucks besides having ( hopefully ) a lota fun!
So when someone ruins my experience, now I don't have to give them my 2 cents because they already took it. ;)
2 cents per game played seems pretty high
I'd guess more like .01 cents per game played.
This is like estimating the price of a car by the number of kilometers it ran.
It's more like trying to determine how much one of those kilometers is worth based on the total price you have paid for the car, fuel, repairs, cleanings, maintenance, etc.
However, it's actually more like factoring only the price of the car and assuming the fuel, repairs, cleanings, maintenance, etc. are all just magically done -- i.e., the figures #1 found are based entirely on ad revenue and doesn't account for donations.
#4: I liked that. Never thought of the allusion.
#5: How did you get an estimation of .01 cents?
#9: You're sure right with that. So the value, considering all the other factors must be much higher.
