Not anymore really. The prices of everything and the crazy amount of immigrants flooding here is ruining Canada. Before JT however, that was the image, clean places, affordable housing, a government that was not nearly as corrupt, and half the house prices. People were so much nicer in Canada but now, it is a living hell.

Well the difference might actually be the second amendment in the United States.
"The number of registered handguns in Canada increased by 71 per cent between 2010 and 2020, reaching approximately 1.1 million, according to the federal government.
A 2017 Small Arms Survey estimated there were 12.7 million firearms in civilian possession in Canada, and there are an estimated 34.7 firearms per 100 people."

So, that is why. In Canada, if the government restricts your speech by force, there is nothing much the people can do.
In the US that wont happen because the people will line up the governors and anyone who wants to censor them in front of a shooting squad.
That is one of the reasons of the second amendment.
