Vote for the next marathon time control

cptmajormajor, why not 0+1, 10+0, and 25+10 mixed up? And people in the lower ranks get more 0+1, so they earn points faster ;)

I think the link to vote is not as visible as if it was on the home page.

Maybe it could be located when we click on the menu (triple bar icon). When we click on it we would be asked to vote or decline to vote before viewing the menu. Vote would only appear when we have responded or declined our vote. So the triple three bars would show a 1 like a challenge or mail.

I agree with Toscani that the link to the vote should be more visible, maybe every user should get a message with the link in it. Also, I was wondering when the vote ends?
I really enjoyed the Autumn Marathon, looking forward to the next one. If 3+2 gets picked, I think it would be cool to have hourly 3+2 tournaments, so you can get used to the time control

@31 The lower positioned players getting more 0 +1 reminds me of the car racing games which give your opponent extra speed when they are far behind u . It does not encourage marathon players to play for longer as their advantage is not so big to play more games and hence against the spirit of the marathon.

1+0. This control is really like a race, but a marathon is running. Secondly, even in the control 3+0 you can use hints, robots, and 1+0 is impossible. I played in an Autumn marathon 115 parties, including about 5 parties were suspicious. Opponents have 1300-1400 ratings, "pondered" over each move (even the first) the same time – 5-6 seconds, i.e. sufficient time for the repetition on a different computer running and playing response of the robot on the Board. And, of course, inevitably been defeated somewhere in the 20-th turn. Perhaps it's my excessive suspiciousness, but agree that such danger exists.

And another suggestion for Thibault to celebrate not only the top 50 best players of the marathon, but at least to 200, and those who have spent 10-15 hours (at least a modest icon in the profile).

I cannot conceive people not dying of exhaustion if the time control of a 24-hour tournament is 1+0!
