Good post. I am interested in 90+30 events or scenarios which are opprotunities for my own chess improvement. As i get wiser I care less about the short time control ratings and more about my consistancy in games that have deep thinking. What works in blitz doesnt work in slow games. the opponent will calculate long and refute sacrifices for instance. Though, I will play blitz but mostly I am addicted to that varient 😅🤷♂️ . 5|0 is the usual time i pick because increment confuses me and is something I dont completely mentally account for in short games. 5|3 would make the opponent less flagable in the endgame.
A simul would be fun because we would see different games of you versus the viewers of the stream, friends, etc. Also simuls are good ways to train.
