Feedback about options being hidden in the hamburger menu

Have to agree with this.
All the other options are fine in the new menu, since I think the majority of users seldom change their board configuration and language, but the sound icon was just in the right place before, while now, as a submenu, is clunky
not just it got more difficult to chose desirable volume but it isn't even saving the setting so i need to keep doing it every game. Didn't like it
I'm not changing sound and the like on a regular basis, but this addition to the profile scrolldown menu does not seem to have a logical justification. Either these additional options belong to preferences, then why aren't they under preferences. If they aren't under preferences because they need quick access then why aren't they in the top menu line as they used to be.

Having preferences with an icon and some other preferences just listed under it in words... This is as beautiful as the chance meeting on a dissecting-table of a sewing-machine and an umbrella.
Neither do I like the changes. Options were way easier to use in the old design, for example adjusting the board size during a game. Would be nice to get the old options back... please.
If anything is superfluous in the top line it is the three horizontal lines "Menu" in the right corner. This leads to a page which is half profile page, half some menupoints, I don't think that makes any sense ( this page should be deprecated ). Replace that with the quick settings which are necessary and move other settings under preferences. In this way on the left of your handle their are notification like items and on the right settings like items. This would represent a coherent logic.
Similarly moving Rating stats into a sub tab of leaderboard makes no sense. It was in the right place under Community, there are only a few items there, it was not overloaded. I did not mention this earlier but seeing that this kind of restructuring continues I see a tendency now.
People are always much more resistant and hostile towards changes with software design when those changes first come out and usually get used to them and perhaps start to like them over time. Having said that, I have to say in all my years I don't think I've ever seen such a unanimous overwhelming negative response to anything to do with the internet or computers before including some of the changes with youtube.
And I have agree with everyone else, it could be done better. What I think you really should do is get rid of the redundant hamburger menu. I never understood why it was there in the first place. Everything it has is in the menu bar at the top of the screen to begin with! Put all the things you crammed into the player name dropdown menu into it instead. Except perhaps the sound, because people want a dedicated one click button for that. That's my two cents.
