Why is it *always* my turn when lichess goes down?

Seriously? Why aren't games that happen during an outage automatically a push?

I am white. I have this particular game solved. There is no way I can lose. Or draw. The only way I lose rating points is if lichess breaks. I know, first world problems, but this is just infuriating.
I, too, have wondered about how they handle disconnects here due to server restarts/maintenance/crashes. I don't understand how they can just leave it up in the air as far as who gets the win and who doesn't. Totally unfair and a total burden on the rating system.

As I brought up in another thread yesterday: They need to have an option to adjourn longer games in the event of a disconnect/whatever. This way both players can simply resume the game when they're both available. This is how it's run on ICC.
The servers crashed when I was playing a game on my opponent's turn and when they came back on it just said the game was aborted despite six moves having been played. Perhaps it should do that for all incomplete games when the server goes down. Sure, some people who were winning their games at the time would be sore, but it is the fairest way to go about it since there is no way to be 100% certain a person with an advantage wouldn't blunder it away or a person who was losing wouldn't find a nice equalizing trick. It assures no person undeservedly gains or loses rating points.
