Keyboard piece movement

Yea, I think this is basically a dead idea unless someone can think of a way to implement it with very little time invested.

I already started and intend to finish, but currently tied up in other business a few days.

correspondence chess notation is easy enough to understand and only uses numbers and always 4 of them, except when promoting i think

it's just the coordinates for the piece and target square with a-h replaced with 1-8
so e2-e4 is 5254, short castle for white is 5171

why don't you just use the damn mouse?

I know this is dead, but I would love to be able to use a keyboard and standard notation to move the pieces. It would help in learning the pieces and it would reduce the number of games I've lost due to accidentally clicking the mouse.
