sometimes i can actively listen to music and think about the game. sometimes i can play the game with music on, and sometimes there must be silence. i find it weird that my brain can be so different depending on the day. anyone else feel the same way?

I listen to my inner voice telling me to focus and try not to blunder. If I have to listen to music while playing chess, I listen to classical music like Beethoven, Bach, etc.

Half the time I listen to music. Sort of like what chessbrah plays (house, dance, techno). All sorts of pop, kpop, metallica, rock, and some old school rap.
