Premove tricks in bullet

seems like OP didn't find much support for his point of view :o maybe he should try less tricky games like 1+1 or something
It's happened to me loads of times. If you are predictable, people take advantage of your weakness - that's part of chess.

Now, I do it to others too. The thing with tricks is, don't do them more than once in 10 or so games against an opponent.

Pre-moving is great - but dangerous. I use it (usually) for my opening four or five moves. Sometimes, if I'm playing a low-rated player who is a little slow, I pre-move LOADS to give them pressure on time. This is also part of strategy. That's chess.

There could be other thread where a player is shocked by another player's pre moving their opening and they think this is rude. 'How dare they make moves without thinking, this is against the spirit of chess'.
Blah to both of you.
If you play speed chess then observe other players for what is allowed and what is not. Do not make up your own etiquette unless you want to be annoyed as others follow more pragmatic rules.
Personally, I love to trick opponent when they are premoving. It is a tactical victory and a poke in the eye to them who say I am so predictable- they can premove a blunder :)
