What are your biggest pet peeves in chess?

"Tough guys" who always stay to the end of the game, even if they've obviously lost.

Just resign, damn it. It's more honourable to be able to accept defeat than to never give up (blindly).
* People who resign so I can't finish my win.
* People who feel any reason to get mad over their opponent not resigning. :P
I hate when people don't resign in a clearly losing position. When you are down a minor piece and two pawns, just resign.
The worst thing is when you drop a piece by accident, obviously its a mistake and your opponent ignores the take back.
I disagree with both of the last comments. I quite often win when a piece or more down and I dislike take-backs, which are not part of sport -you make your bed and lie on it (if you win after a take-back, do you feel a worthy winner?).
Lots of things.
1. Throwing away winning positions
2. People who resign before I can execute my queen sac 12 move mating sequence
3. People who resign in an endgame where I'm up like 6 pawns and I want to make those pawns into knights, perform a dance around the board and then mate them in style.
4. People who take 30mins when it's like the 4th move
5. The London System, and the Exchange French
I don't mind whether one resigns or not in a lost position; what I find very rude, though, is playing on and on pointlessly and resigning 1 move before checkmate.

If a checkmate sequence is particularly cool or beautiful (eg. smothered mate), I'd rather see it played-out, and might allow it against myself as a sign of respect to the game (I'm not sure whether the opponent gets this though).

Good jokes
No reaction for stupidity
Thanks
The french exchange, it's the most annoying thing on earth.
